Arabic letters may sound to some people that they are hard to be pronounced and to be remembered etc.
Writing the Arabic alphabet is pretty different from the Latin alphabet that English speakers are accustomed to. It looks very different, it’s written from right to left, and has 28 letters that are written differently depending on where they appear in a word.
Allahu Rabbi; is a song for the children to help them to remember the always Muslims creed
‘Allah Made Everything’, the latest single from Zain Bhikha's brand new album "The Passing Traveller" - a fun-filled, children's song that reminds us that whilst all of creation recognizes Allah as their Creator, it is only us as human beings who forget at times of our Lord, to whom we will all return someday. As part of the Ta’ziz Science Cooperation Project (2023–2025), Ragab Kamal Abouhalima, PhD student at Philipps-University Marburg, took part in a scholarly visit to the Research Library in Gotha. The visit focused on Islamic manuscripts of Egyptian origin that were transferred to Germany in the eighteenth century, with particular attention to texts related to the Hajj and the Hijaz. Combining material analysis, textual study, and digital perspectives, the workshop offered valuable insights into the circulation of Egyptian knowledge and material heritage and its lasting impact in German collections.
